These were a kind of slip-on shoes without a tongue that you can pull up to get your foot in. They were very comfortable once he got them on but my 9 yo had a hard time getting them on. We ended up returning.

My son has normal to narrow feet, we ordered a size too large and he still said they were narrow. Returned.
